October Member of the Month

We’re happy welcome Peter Keeling to the HRA Member of the Month hall of fame!

What goes into selecting a HRA MOM? Glad you asked. Here is what we consider the cornerstone of being the best version of yourself with the HRA fam:

1. My favorite thing is the people. Every gym has weights, but it's the coaches that make it so special. They have the ability to inspire, to create, to motivate, that's the secret sauce. Bobby, Jay, Andrew, Austin and even sometimes Cody, that's the difference maker for me. I walk in at 7am, barely awake, and they somehow manage to pull a great workout out of me.

2. Since joining the Riv, the biggest change I've noticed is how well I'm sleeping. Probably because I'm getting destroyed on a daily basis in the workouts. But I'm waking up feeling energized every day, and have fallen into a nice consistent sleep schedule.

3. Training carries over into my personal life in several ways. Professionally it gives me the strength to get through the most strenuous days of operating cameras on movie sets. When I've been running around doing an action scene for hours, completely gassed, all hope is lost, and I turn to the director and she says "one more take", all I can do is nod and agree, "one more."

4. My favorite moment since joining is a collection of how welcoming everybody has been. It's super intimidating coming into a scene where people have been training together for years. And from my first workout, Diana volunteering to be my partner, watching me kersplat on the turf and pushing me through, I've felt welcome. All the coaches making me feel like I belong and have a place here. Gary, Jenna, Mo, Mike, all my 700am/415pm peeps, you guys make it such an inviting place for me.
