Performance Care Segment

One of my favorite components to these is the emphasis on paying close attention to how you move. Similar care should be taken in the daily warm-ups.

You’re the mechanic inspecting your body before it’s exhausting road trip.

Last night, the geniuses behind @capacitywod spoke a bit about athlete ownership. The responsibility of the member to understand their body, their mobility/strength/endurance/recovery and how it might effect proper mechanics.

As coaches we help identify breakdowns, limitations, imbalances, or movement patterns that might become irritating and guide you away from them, but we can’t be there for every rep.

If problems persist you need to be able to communicate to the coach what you’ve been monitoring so that actionable steps can be laid out, and benchmarks can be set to measure progress to getting better.

When you walk in the doors you’re either doing yourself a lot of good or a lot of harm over time. Help us help you. The more good you do for yourself the more fun this is, and the more enjoyable movement becomes. 🙏🏻 @hinshaw363 @olychad @davedurante
